VIDEO: Airplane Makes Emergency Landing on Highway in Mexico and Catches Fire; Pilot Fled Scene
In the Sintana Roo state of Mexico, a Hawker XB-RCM jet made an emergency landing on a highway. Shortly after landing, the aircraft caught fire, and the pilot fled the scene.
It is suspected that the plane was transporting drugs. Mexican armed forces had noticed the plane during its flight. Reports note that the pilot made the emergency landing to avoid arrest.
