Video: 23-Year-Old from Echmiadzin Stole Nearly 1 Million Drams from Friend's Grandmother's House

The police of Vagharchapat received information that a 23-year-old resident of Echmiadzin had committed theft from his friend's grandmother's house on October Street. After verifying the authenticity of the information and conducting explanatory work, the suspect presented himself to the Vagharchapat police station on July 3.

It turned out that in January, he had visited his friend's grandmother's house on Vram Kostanyan Street in Echmiadzin and had stolen 200,000 drams from a metal pot located in the bedroom. The homeowners had not contacted the police, and knowing the location of the money, the suspect continued to visit the elderly woman during the winter, stealing nearly 1 million drams from the same pot in addition to the initial theft.

The last time he had been in that apartment was on June 22, when he stole 30,000 drams from the living room cupboard. A report has been filed by the victim. Circumstances are being clarified, and materials are being prepared on the case.
