Inspection Visits Conducted by AATM in Garni and Sevan with a Tight Work Schedule
Disinfectants, thermometers, record books, closed trash cans, and more: the teams of the Health and Labor Inspection Body were in Garni and Sevan on July 5, conducting intensified inspections with a tight work schedule.
This was reported by the Government of Armenia.
"Inspectors also measured the alcohol content of disinfectants used by business operators in certain places. To curb the spread of the coronavirus, AATM's observations indicate that businesses in the Gegharkunik region have become more disciplined compared to the first days of the inspections. Numerous records are created in stores, pharmacies, offices, and other sectors under AATM's supervision, and in cases of violations, these records are sent to the commandant’s office.
Today, out of 49 operators observed, a suspension request was sent to the commandant for 5 of them. Moreover, only 1 of those was an operator in Garni, where violations have been minimized.
Vahagn Nikoghosyan, head of the AATM’s Western Territorial Center serving three regions, notes that relatively better results are recorded in Tavush regarding compliance with regulations set by the commandant. More violations are observed in Kotayk. Incidentally, in this region, around two dozen operators in Abovyan city were suspended by the latest commandant’s decision," the statement reads.
