Emergency Incident in Gegharkunik Province: Driver Crashes Mazda into Cow and Ends Up in Field, Injured Reported
On July 5, an emergency incident occurred in Gegharkunik Province. Around 13:40, 25-year-old Alexander M., a resident of Yerevan, while driving his Mazda with license plate 88 SN 881, struck a large cattle and veered off the roadway, landing in a field on the 24 km section of the Tsovagyugh-Shorzha-Vardenis highway.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, passengers, also residents of Yerevan, 25-year-old David Kh., 23-year-old Mher Kh., and 22-year-old Gor G., sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Jambarak Medical Center.
The firefighters disconnected the car's battery, shut off the gas cylinder valve, and secured the area. According to G. Shamshyan, injured individuals David and Mher Kh. are brothers.
