Stork Nest Burns in Ararat Province, Five Chicks Found

Recently, a report was received by the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body's Ararat regional division. A resident of the Hayanist community in Ararat Province, H. Zakaryan, informed that a utility pole near her home had caught fire, and the stork nest on the pole had burned as well.

This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body.

"Inspection staff immediately went to the scene and found five stork chicks in a helpless condition. To ensure the safety of the birds, the staff transported them to a specialized rehabilitation facility, 'Zoo Fauna Art' LLC," the announcement stated.
