Lars is Open Only for Cargo Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of July 5 at 08:00, the roads within Armenia are passable.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, due to the state of emergency, the Stepanavan-Lars highway is open only for cargo transport vehicles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has confirmed that the decision to prohibit foreign nationals from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
