Fire Breaks Out in Paint Factory in Baku, Casualties Reported

A fire broke out in a paint manufacturing plant in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. According to RIA Novosti, the large fire spread over an area of more than 3,000 square meters before it was contained. Six people were injured as a result of the incident, five of whom were firefighters.

“At this moment, there is no longer a risk of spreading the fire. 300 personnel participated in the firefighting efforts, and 50 units of equipment were involved,” announced the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
