Today We Have Quite Good Pace and Quality in Military Development: Nikol Pashinyan Meets with RA Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Leadership
Today we have quite good pace and quality in military development. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page, who visited the Ministry of Defense and published a video from there.
“I want to emphasize that this direction is not just a priority for our government, but a priority among priorities. I had a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces,” he wrote.
Pashinyan also noted during the meeting: “The ambitions that the Armenian people have adopted and declared have a chance of becoming reality if the RA Armed Forces are commensurate with the geopolitical situation around our country and are capable of responding to all challenges. Furthermore, we are considering not only short-term but also long-term, not only tactical but also strategic challenges. But I want to highlight that the normal development of the armed forces and the pace of development we have adopted today are necessary to ensure peace and stability in the region.”
“During the last Security Council meeting, I had the opportunity to speak on this topic and affirm that the policy we are pursuing, the objectives we have, in fact, serve not only the security of the RA and Artsakh, but also, whether intentionally or not, the security and stability of the entire region. I am glad that we perceive the mission of our armed forces in Armenia and, in general, in the region through these emphases,” he added.
