Students Davaryan Brothers in London Create Innovative Masks and Send 30,000 to Armenia
Two Armenian students in London, Aleksandr and Georgi Davaryan, have joined the effort to overcome the coronavirus crisis in Armenia. According to the Armenian representative office of Waldheim International, they have transformed a corner of their school into a temporary workshop to produce protective face masks for healthcare workers.
A batch of 30,000 masks was sent to Armenia today. Initially, the students printed the masks using their school's 3D printers, and later, through crowdfunding, they secured resources to create equipment for serial production of the masks.
The masks are expected to arrive in Armenia within 10 days.
