Fire Breaks Out at Vedi Military Unit

On July 2, at 16:43, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a fire had broken out at a military unit located in the city of Vedi. Four fire and rescue teams from the Ararat regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 17:47 and extinguished by 18:39. The wooden components of the roof of the unit's bathhouse (approximately 100 square meters), a glass wool insulating layer (approximately 25 square meters), and about 10 meters of cable were burned.
