Video: Gunshots Heard on Andranik Street; Arrests Made

On June 30, around 16:30, the Malatia division of the police received two emergency calls within seconds of each other, reporting gunshots in the courtyard of building 149 on Andranik Street. Operational-investigative teams dispatched to the scene discovered blood-like traces during their examination of the area.

Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan city police joined the operational and investigative measures, resulting in the acquisition of factual data indicating that an incident had occurred involving several young individuals. During this time, one of them sustained a head injury and then fired gunshots towards the vehicle of the opposing side.

Shortly thereafter, the identities of the incident participants were clarified, and measures for their apprehension began. As a result, two young residents of Yerevan were arrested on the same day. Efforts to locate the firearm and the ongoing investigation of the criminal case continue.
