Survey Conducted on the Resolution of the Artsakh Conflict

Surveys conducted indicate that 70% of Armenians support the unification of Artsakh and Armenia. This is reported by the 'Baghramyan Telegram Channel'.

'Caucasus Research Resource Center - Armenia' has published the results of a survey regarding the resolution of the Artsakh conflict. The survey was conducted from February 21 to March 15, 2020. Among respondents, 70% expressed support for unification, 9% were opposed, 16% acknowledged the unification but deemed special conditions necessary, 1% were indifferent to the issue, and 4% indicated that they did not know.

Furthermore, 52% of respondents believe Artsakh should be fully independent, while 23% again noted the need for special conditions, and 23% were against independence. A significant 95% are firmly against the idea of Artsakh being part of Azerbaijan, even under special status conditions, while only 1% support this notion.

Only 30% of Armenians believe that the Artsakh conflict will be resolved within the next five years. Meanwhile, 13% think it may be resolved through negotiations, 23% consider this unlikely, and 21% deem this option entirely unrealistic.
