Putin Holds Talks with Leaders of Several Countries
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held talks with the leaders of India, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian leader.
Peskov stated that the president's agenda is quite busy in terms of international phone calls today.
He noted that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Putin during their conversation regarding the successful voting conducted the day before on constitutional amendments.
The spokesperson also mentioned that issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and there were separate phone conversations with the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan.
“First of all, of course, we are talking about congratulating Vladimir Putin on the successful voting,” Peskov said.
