I congratulate our beloved Yeghvard residents: Romanos Petrosyan's message
Kotayk Province Governor Romanos Petrosyan published photographs on his Facebook page and noted: “This area of almost 1 hectare, located in the heart of the Yeghvard community, used to be a public outdoor swimming pool. In the post-Soviet period, it gradually turned into an unkempt 'forest' and despite its central location, it resembled a semi-abandoned area.
Last year, during a nationwide cleanup campaign with the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Suren Papikyan, we visited this region and conceived an idea to renovate this area through a subsidy program and transform it into a large public recreation zone for the city, featuring a small swimming pool, an amphitheater, parks, children's entertainment areas, and green promenades.
I congratulate our beloved Yeghvard residents: The program has already received the approval of the Government of Armenia, with around 244 million AMD allocated for the realization of this wonderful project (30%/70% state/community co-financing). We are on the path to having a model Kotayk.”
