Georgia to Temporarily Open Land Corridor for Russians Returning from Armenia
The Georgian side has agreed to allow the transit of Russian citizens returning home from Armenia via buses, as reported by the Russian embassy in Armenia. According to the diplomatic mission's information, the organization of aspects related to this return is currently underway.
"In agreement with the embassy, the South Caucasus Railways LLC is prepared to cover the costs for comfortable tourist-class buses (with air conditioning and restrooms), which will greatly facilitate the transit through the neighboring country, as technical stops will not be required. Lists will be compiled based on the data you previously provided, resulting in representatives from the embassy's consular division contacting Russian citizens. Necessary sanitary processing of vehicles will be ensured," the statement mentioned.
