The body of Mariam Malakhasyan's grandmother from Gyumri is missing. The Chief of Police, Avinyan, and the Minister of Health, can you tell us where to search for the body of the grandmother who passed away due to coronavirus? This was mentioned by Prosperous Armenia Party MP Naira Zohrabyan on her Facebook page.

She specifically wrote: “The body of Mariam Malakhasyan's grandmother from Gyumri is missing. Chief of Police Avinyan and the Minister of Health, can you tell us where to search for the body of the grandmother who passed away due to coronavirus? I was contacted via message and later by phone by Mariam Malakhasyan, who explained that her grandmother died in the ‘Grigor Lusavorich’ clinic from coronavirus on June 29, but they have not been able to find her body until now.”

“For a moment, I thought the girl was making an unsuccessful joke and decided to talk with her. The rest of the story about the missing body is simply shameful and disgraceful. The grandmother dies, as I mentioned, on June 29, and the relatives are informed that the body can be collected from the anatomical center in Abovyan city. For two days, Mariam's brother has been trying to locate the body at the anatomical center, but the body simply does not exist. Furthermore, the young man, ignoring the risks, personally enters the anatomical center and searches among the bodies for his grandmother. And he cannot find her.”

“Naturally, the relatives turned to the police, where they were directed to the Ministry of Health, they contacted the Ministry of Health, from where they were sent back to the police. Finally, they reached out to the police, but up until now, the grandmother's body has not been found. The relatives managed to find out from other sources that the sanitary worker who transported the body to the anatomical center did not read the grandmother's name correctly and, apparently, the body was received and, according to everything, buried by completely different people.”
