We Are Ready to Do Whatever It Takes to Restore the Good Traditions Associated with the 'Lori' Team Name: Governor
The Governor of Lori Province, along with officials from the regional administration, visited the Vanadzor Football Academy. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the academy's activities and the coaching staff and players of the 'Lori' football club. This was reported by the Lori regional administration.
This year, the team is participating in the Armenian Premier League, with three decisive matches remaining ahead. The regional leader wished the team success, expressing a desire to motivate the players by attending the match scheduled for July 2.
"We are ready to do whatever it takes to restore the good traditions associated with the 'Lori' team name and to create great love and interest among the youth in our region for this sport," said Andrey Ghukasyan.
He informed that the construction of the Vanadzor football stadium has slowed down due to known reasons, but it will soon be put into operation, providing the best training conditions for the team.
According to the club's director, Vahan Danielyan, the team is currently composed of players from Armenia as well as those from Spain, Portugal, various African countries, and Haiti. However, in the coming years, he assured, the team will gradually be supplemented by youth trained at the Vanadzor football academy.
