Violations of Anti-Pandemic Regulations in Transportation
Specialists from the State Inspection Body for Urban Development, Technical Safety, and Fire Safety of Armenia, in cooperation with employees from various divisions of the National Police of the Republic of Armenia, continued to conduct ongoing monitoring and supervision in the Erebuni administrative district of the capital on July 1.
During the activities carried out regarding public transport vehicles, instances were discovered where vehicles were operating with passengers transported in violation of regulations.
In the taxi service system, cases were identified where passengers were in the front seat during transportation, as well as incidents involving drivers without masks. Based on the recorded violations, administrative offense reports have been compiled.
A simultaneous awareness campaign was conducted among drivers and passengers, providing instructions aimed at rectifying deficiencies on-site and strictly adhering to the requirements of the decision by the Chief Medical Officer of Armenia.
The monitoring and oversight activities carried out by the inspection body will continue throughout the day.
