The Only Paper Version of Pension Recipients' List at Haypost is a Serious Obstacle

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, made a post on Facebook: A few days ago, during visits to the offices of Haypost, it became clear that our postal workers are facing a significant obstacle, as the only available paper version of the list of pension recipients did not allow for simultaneous and more efficient work.

Today, we can state that we have taken another step towards the digitization of document circulation. With the assistance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Haypost is launching a new pilot program for an electronic payment system for pensions.

The program is set to introduce a new pension payment system using electronic devices, which will fundamentally change the previously existing paper-based payment system. The pilot program will commence in the postal divisions of the Avan administrative district of Yerevan.
