Personal Additions Made by President Macron in Telegram Addressed to the Prime Minister, Says Spokesperson
The handwritten additions made by the French President in the telegram addressed to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan were personally made by President Emmanuel Macron. This was stated by the Prime Minister's press secretary, Mane Gevorgyan, in an interview with Armenpress.
"I wouldn't want to comment on this issue, but a number of media outlets, largely lacking substantial content, continue to resort to manipulative tactics. The handwritten additions made by the French President in the telegram addressed to the Prime Minister were personally made by President Macron, which is an accepted practice when sending telegrams. The inclusion of 'Cher Nikol' by the President speaks to the warm and friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries. In addition, I inform you that the translation of the telegram was also provided by the French side. I would advise refraining from content-less speculations and to operate in a collaborative and professional manner," Gevorgyan noted.
On June 30, French President Emmanuel Macron sent a letter of support to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
