Permanent Monitoring of Death Cases to Be Implemented in Lori Province
According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, by the decision of the Governor of Lori Province, Andrey Ghukasyan, a commission has been established to ensure ongoing monitoring of death cases in the region. The structure of the commission has been modified by the governor's decision.
As reported by "Zhoghovurd", when there is a discrepancy in clinical and pathological diagnoses of hospital deaths recorded by health organizations in the province, the commission is tasked with organizing discussions and presenting a report.
In a conversation with "Zhoghovurd", Governor Andrey Ghukasyan remarked on this issue, stating, "It has been established, and just my decision has changed its composition due to new staff members. It is a mandatory commission, and there is one in every province, it operates."
The governor emphasized that the newly formed commission for monitoring death cases is not related to coronavirus. When questioned about the nature of the monitoring conducted by the commission, the governor responded that he could not provide details.
Nevertheless, upon further inquiry regarding whether the commission was established to investigate suspicious death cases, Ghukasyan candidly replied, "There has not been a case we need to investigate; therefore, I cannot specify in which cases an investigation should be conducted." It turns out that while the commission exists and there is also a subject for investigation, there is no investigator.
