Entry Rules for Armenian Citizens to Ukraine
The Ukrainian government has introduced certain changes and clarifications to the temporary rules for entry and stay of foreigners and stateless persons in Ukraine. The entry rules for Ukraine published by the Armenian Embassy on June 15 remain in effect. This statement was released by the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine.
The new additions to the rules applicable to Armenian citizens are as follows:
- The requirement for mandatory observation or self-isolation for foreigners arriving from countries with significant COVID-19 prevalence may be waived if the foreigner undergoes a PCR COVID-19 test after crossing the border and the test result is negative.
- The requirements related to medical insurance, which forms part of the documents package presented to the Ukrainian authorities during border control, have been clarified. Such insurance must be issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine, or by a foreign insurance company with a representative office in Ukraine, or by a foreign company which has a reinsurance agreement with a Ukrainian insurer, covering treatment and observation expenses related to COVID-19, and valid for the duration of the individual's stay in Ukraine.
