89 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital

As of July 1 at 11:30, there are 89 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, of which 84 are residents of Shirak Province. This information was reported by the Shirak Province administration.

Since March 1, a total of 4,467 samples have been taken in the healthcare facilities of Shirak Province and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to June 30, a total of 3,113 samples were tested in Gyumri, and on June 30, 57 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed.

Currently, there are 1,054 citizens under home self-isolation in the region, 252 of whom have a positive diagnosis with asymptomatic progression of the disease. Monitoring is being conducted by the primary healthcare sector.

A total of 271 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. 37 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 21 recorded deaths.
