You Are Monsters: Zohrabyan on Police Who 'Crushed' Puppies
Naïra Zohrabyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, wrote on her Facebook page: “An inhumane crime has occurred. Today, at dawn, armed individuals who claimed to be employees of the new security company entered the area from the second post of Amulsar. And these guards in police uniforms crushed three of the puppies living at the post under the wheels of their vehicle. These are the puppies depicted in this picture, born a few months ago.
I was horrified by the indifferent explanation of the police officer who ruthlessly crushed these puppies under the wheels of the car, saying, ‘We didn't do it on purpose; it happened accidentally.’ As the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and as the author of the legislation criminalizing cruelty to animals, I appeal to the Police: all the evidential videos exist showing that the puppies were thrown under the car and killed, which the perpetrators of this massacre do not deny. An immediate criminal case must be initiated, and the rally-loving guardian Schumacher types should be punished to the fullest extent of the criminal code.
Regarding the new operation to 'break through' the defensive positions of Amulsar, as a deputy of the region and as a citizen against the exploitation of Amulsar, I will personally be on site to try to understand what new adventure those in charge of Amulsar are attempting.
I should also add that my colleague, Co-Chair of the ‘Friends of Lucky’ organization, Artjom Vardanyan, is currently taking the surviving puppies to Yerevan, and those who wish to adopt the puppies can contact the Friends of Lucky organization.
