Shengavit's KPA Mayor Faces Up to 6 Years in Prison
According to NEWS.am, a criminal case has been initiated regarding the use of violence against an employee of the Shengavit municipality by the KPA leader, his deputy, and assistant on June 15. This incident is categorized under Article 309, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to exceeding official authority accompanied by the use of violence.
This act, as specified by the criminal code, is punishable by imprisonment ranging from two to six years, with the possibility of being deprived of certain official positions or activities for a maximum of three years.
The criminal case has been initiated at the Shengavit division of the police and has been forwarded to the Investigative Committee for further investigation.
