Three Citizens Detained from Nubarashen Prison, One Throws Drugs from Pocket

On June 27, operatives from the Nubarashen penitentiary institution, in collaboration with the Erebuni division of the RA Police, carried out operational-investigative measures that led to the detention of citizens G. Gh., M. M., and A. Ch. on suspicion of illegally acquiring, possessing, and using drugs. This information was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

During the detention, one of the individuals threw away a polyethylene package weighing 0.70 grams from his pocket, which, according to A. Ch.'s verbal statement, contains methadone-type drugs.

Materials are being prepared regarding the facts, and the items found have been sent for forensic chemical examination.
