Fire Breaks Out at Furniture Workshop in Yerevan's Aeracia Neighborhood

On June 29, at 04:27, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a fire that broke out at a woodworking workshop located at 37 Aeracia Street in Yerevan. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In response to the complexity of the fire, which was categorized as Level 2, six fire-fighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene, along with an operational group from the Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations Division and a medical support team.

Subsequently, additional assistance was provided by another fire-fighting team from Yerevan's Rescue Department, along with one water truck and two water trucks provided by the municipality.

The fire was determined to have originated from a furniture workshop at 47/2 Shiraz Street (approximately 1200 sq. m). The fire was contained by 05:53 and extinguished by 07:36. Furniture components, 14 machines, and wooden materials (covering about 550 sq. m) were burned in the incident.

A total of 40 rescue workers participated in the firefighting efforts.
