Fines for Violating Anti-Epidemic Rules in Azerbaijan Doubled
Fines for failing to use personal protective equipment during the anti-epidemic, sanitary-hygienic, and quarantine regimes in Azerbaijan have been doubled. This information was reported by minval.az.
The corresponding decision was made during an extraordinary session of the Azerbaijani parliament on June 29, while discussing amendments to the administrative offenses code.
According to the changes, individuals violating the established requirements will be fined not 50 but 100 manats (over 28,000 drams), officials will face fines of 200 manats (over 56,000 drams), and legal entities will incur fines of 400 manats (over 113,000 drams).
In case of repeat offenses, individuals will be fined 200 manats, officials 400 manats, and legal entities 800 manats.
