Entry to Georgia Closed for Foreigners

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of June 29 at 08:30, the roadways within the Republic of Armenia are accessible.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open only for freight transport.

According to information received from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision to prohibit entry for foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
