Case of Abuse of Official Authority Discovered
According to operational reports from the police, between June 26 and 29, the various divisions of the Police of the Republic of Armenia uncovered 100 criminal cases, of which 7 were previously committed. Specifically, there were 29 cases of causing bodily harm, 17 cases of personal property theft, 8 cases of embezzlement or misappropriation, 7 cases of domestic violence, 6 cases of drug discovery, 5 cases of fraud, and 3 each of intentional property destruction and official forgery or negligence. Additionally, there were 2 cases each of car theft and threatening murder, as well as single cases of robbery, kidnapping, residential burglary, weapon and ammunition confiscation, hooliganism, tax evasion, abuse of official authority, drug trafficking, obstructing free expression of voter will, unlawful deprivation of liberty, and discovery of cold weapons. There was also 1 case where medical assistance and service providers failed to adequately perform their professional duties, leading to the patient's death.
Four missing persons were found, 7 wanted individuals were identified, and 6 wanted persons voluntarily surrendered. There were 10 cases of voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition recorded. Among the previously committed crimes, cases of personal property theft and bodily harm each accounted for 5 and 1 case of fraud was also resolved.
During the past 3 days, 28 traffic accidents were registered in the republic, resulting in 2 deaths and 40 individuals sustaining injuries of varying severity.
