Based on the Results of Regular Monitoring by the AATC, 36% of Businesses Are Suspended
The specialized teams of the Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia conducted enhanced inspections today in various areas of the Nor Nork administrative district. The scope of surprise inspections included not only businesses that had been monitored previously but also others, such as supermarkets, electronics sales centers, and branches of credit organizations. This information was provided by the press service of the Government of Armenia.
The inspections reveal that while in early June, based on the results of the AATC's regular monitoring, the operations of 60.5% of the inspected entities were suspended by the decision of the Mayor, in the second week it dropped to around 50%, and now it stands at approximately 36%. This indicates a trend of decreasing violations, which is the result of awareness among businesses and the outcomes of extensive inspections.
AATC workgroups are also conducting surprise inspections and ongoing monitoring in various administrative regions of the capital and across the provinces. The aim is to determine whether the violations that led to the suspensions have been eliminated. If not, stricter administrative measures are inevitable; decisions will be made to suspend operations for a minimum of 24 hours. Urgent measures will be required to eliminate the violations.
