89 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital
As of June 29, 11:30 AM, there are 89 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri infectious diseases hospital, 86 of whom are residents of Shirak Province.
From March 1 until now, 4,174 samples have been taken in healthcare facilities in Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Between May 12 and June 28, 2,820 samples were tested in Gyumri, with 10 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease reported on June 28.
Currently, 969 citizens are under home isolation in the province, with 214 testing positive for the virus in asymptomatic cases, and monitoring is being conducted by the primary health care sector.
A total of 263 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 37 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 21 reported deaths, according to the regional administration.
