65-Year-Old Driver Hits Cyclist Boy in Yerevan
On June 28, a pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:40, 65-year-old Samvel M., driving a VAZ-2107, hit a young cyclist in front of 5/16 Banishjaghyan Street, according to Shamshyan.com.
The driver did not flee the scene; he called for an ambulance at 1-03 in Yerevan and then assisted in transporting the injured boy to the Armenia Medical Center. Afterward, he reported the incident to the police.
At the Armenia Medical Center, the child received initial medical assistance and, after being diagnosed with critical injuries, was transferred via a reanimobile to the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center.
