261 Citizens Currently Under Treatment in Lori Province, 56 Hospitalized
The Governor of Lori Province, Andrey Ghukasyan, held a regular working consultation on June 29. Among other issues, the current situation related to the pandemic and the measures being implemented were presented to the provincial leader.
Specifically, it was reported that proper monitoring is being conducted regarding the implementation of the decisions made by the Crisis Management System.
According to the Lori Province Information Office, as of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lori stands at 616, with 348 recoveries reported. The total number of recorded deaths is 7.
Currently, 261 citizens are under treatment, of whom 56 are hospitalized, while 205 are receiving care at home under the supervision of neighborhood doctors. Additionally, 674 citizens are in self-isolation.
Related to the directives given by the provincial leader last week, it was also reported that financial assistance for three families severely affected by mud flows due to heavy rainfall in the Ukrshin shanty settlement of Vanadzor is currently underway.
During the consultation, several other urgent sectoral issues were also addressed, and assignments were given.
