Fire at the 'Snow Refrigeration' Building Extinguished
On June 28, at 11:08 AM, the Crisis Management National Center received an alert about a fire that broke out in the area of the 'Snow Refrigeration' LLC on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan.
With a complexity level of 2, six firefighting units, one aerial ladder, and an operational team from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene.
Subsequently, an additional three firefighting units, two aerial ladders, one special vehicle from the gas protection service, and an on-duty medical support group from the ministry were also dispatched to assist.
It was determined that the fire had spread to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors, affecting an area of approximately 105 square meters. The fire was contained by 1:10 PM and extinguished by 2:01 PM.
On the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors, foam plastic and glass fiber burned (about 35 square meters on each floor). One firefighting unit from the Yerevan fire rescue department is currently on standby at the scene.
A total of 36 rescue personnel and 11 vehicles were involved in the firefighting operations. The Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, monitored the firefighting efforts on-site.
