Grassland Area Burning in Hrazdan Gorge: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On June 27, at 17:38, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about a grassland area burning near the "Florens" restaurant in the Hrazdan gorge of Yerevan.

A level "1-BIS" fire alert has been declared, and four fire-fighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been dispatched to the scene, along with an operational group from the division responsible for organizing firefighting and rescue operations.

Subsequently, an additional firefighting team was sent to the location. According to preliminary data, approximately 4 hectares of grassland are burning. The Deputy Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Armen Grigoryan, is present at the scene.
