Police Chief Visits Patrol Service Unit

On the morning of June 26, Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan visited the patrol service unit of the police. Before the officers went on duty, Vahe Ghazaryan attended the line inspection.

The Police Chief addressed the officers standing in formation, stating that during these times, the patrol officers are serving the nation while putting their health at risk. Collaborating with personnel from other departments, the police officers of the patrol service unit are at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic.

Vahe Ghazaryan emphasized that the sole purpose of the administrative actions taken by the police is to safeguard citizens' health. The police will continue to perform their emergency service aimed at preventing the spread of the pandemic.

The Police Chief expressed his gratitude for the dedicated and honorable service and announced that officers who have distinguished themselves through conscientious service have been awarded recognitions by his command.

High-ranking police officials and officers from the patrol service unit laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial dedicated to officers who lost their lives while performing their duties.

The Police Chief and senior officers toured the unit's premises, visited various divisions, and observed training, physical, and combat exercises.

At the end of the visit, the Police Chief wished the patrol service unit officers a successful service as they headed out on duty.
