Expired Carbonated Beverage Found
Inspection officers from the Shirak Regional Center of the Food Safety Inspection Body discovered expired carbonated beverages, specifically Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola, during their ongoing monitoring of retail and wholesale trade facilities, as well as public catering organizations in Gyumri.
Reports were generated by the inspectors of the Shirak Regional Center, and the expired products were removed from sale. The businesses involved provided statements indicating that the carbonated beverages were received from the supplier a week prior and committed to returning the entire expired batch to the supplier.
All territorial subdivisions of the Food Safety Inspection Body have been instructed to check for the presence of expired batches of these brands, as well as other food products, in food supply chain organizations.
