Crisis Situation in 11 Countries, Including Armenia, Due to Coronavirus - WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed concern over the active spread of coronavirus in Europe. According to the BBC Russian service, Hans Kluge, the head of the WHO’s European regional office, indicated that the virus indicators have risen so high in 11 countries in Europe that without immediate actions, the healthcare systems in the region could be on the brink of collapse once again.

The list of these countries includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Moldova, as well as Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo.

Kluge pointed out that the new outbreak is linked to the easing of quarantine restrictions.
