Ceremony for the Unveiling of Commemorative Stamp Held at 'Mother Armenia'
On June 26 at 11:00 AM, a ceremony for the unveiling of a postage stamp issued by Haypost CJSC was held in the open area of the 'Mother Armenia' military museum. This stamp commemorates the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, as reported by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry's press service.
The unveiling of the stamp was conducted by the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gor Melikyan, Deputy Minister of Defense Makar Ghambaryan, General Director of Haypost Hayk Karapetyan, and President of the Armenian Philatelists Union Hovik Musayelyan.
The stamp features an image of a bombarded wall with the inscription “We entered Berlin” written in charcoal. The number “75” is depicted in the upper right corner, symbolizing the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
With a nominal value of 280 AMD, the stamp was printed in a batch of 40,000 at the 'Cartor' printing house in France. The designer of the stamp is David Davlathyan from Haypost CJSC.
Since 1992, Haypost has issued 19 thematic stamps and 3 souvenir sheets related to the Great Patriotic War.
