Appeal Filed Against Court Decision on Gagik Tsarukyan's Restraint Measure

The leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan's lawyer, Smbat Minasyan, made a post on his Facebook page.

“I inform you that we have filed an appeal against the ruling of the first instance court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan regarding the application of custody as a restraint measure against our client, Gagik Tsarukyan. We have asked the court to recognize the absence of well-founded suspicion, the violation of investigative jurisdiction, and a number of other issues raised by us in the first instance court,” he wrote.
