Sofya Hovsepyan's Father Fined for Not Wearing a Mask

Sofya Hovsepyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly, announced on her Facebook page that her father had been fined for not wearing a mask.

“For the past month, I have been trying to convince my father to wear a mask when going out, using all possible means. I even brought up the shame factor, saying that if anyone sees him, it would mostly be shameful for me and I have come up with many elaborate sentences. He always responded, ‘Alright, alright, don’t get all worked up, I’ll put it on, and besides, there are no such diseases in our village,’ and would hang up,” she wrote.

“Naturally, I knew that after hanging up, he would do whatever he wanted. Today, my mother called me: ‘In the end, they fined your father and his friends.’ I asked her to find out which police officer issued the fine so that I could call them and express my gratitude.”
