87 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital
As of June 25 at 11:30 AM, there are 87 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 80 of whom are residents of the Shirak Province. This information was provided by the Shirak Province Governor's Office.
Currently, there are 855 citizens in the province under home quarantine, with 196 of them having positive diagnoses and asymptomatic conditions. Monitoring is being carried out by primary healthcare services.
To date, 238 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Furthermore, 33 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 17 recorded deaths related to the virus.
From March 1 to the present, 3,876 samples have been taken at healthcare facilities in Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Between May 12 and June 24, 2,522 sample tests were conducted in Gyumri.
