Urgent: Armenian-Made Coronavirus Confirmation PCR Tests Are Ready, Says Arsen Torosyan

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, announced on his Facebook page that the Armenian-made coronavirus confirmation PCR tests are ready.

"They will be used for studies carried out by the Ministry of Health under a state order. This is a significant advancement for our medical science and fundamental sciences. I would like to express special thanks to the Institute of Molecular Biology for developing and producing the tests, as well as to the emergency situation command for acquiring and importing the necessary materials and supplies for their production into Armenia," the minister wrote.
