I Have Self-Isolated on My Own Initiative: Gevorg Gorgisyan

Gevorg Gorgisyan, the secretary of the parliamentary faction of the 'Bright Armenia' party, has announced on his Facebook page:

'Dear compatriots and beloved friends, information regarding my self-isolation has emerged in the media. Let me clarify briefly: On the 12th, I had coffee with my friend, who informed me on the 20th that he was exhibiting symptoms of coronavirus. By the 22nd, he had already received a positive test result.

Since the 20th, I have been trying to reach the emergency hotline to notify them of my self-isolation and to check if any further actions are required. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts, I was unable to contact the emergency situation center.

Thus, I have self-isolated on my own initiative until the 26th (12+14=26). I am feeling well, aside from the slight nervous tension caused by the online attacks on Facebook. Stay healthy and adhere to all preventive measures. Pay special attention to physical activity and consume vitamin-rich fruits.'
