Heavy 'Blows' to Authorities
According to the «Jamanak» daily, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) plans to undertake extensive activities in the near future. The former ruling party is preparing to appeal to nearly all European institutions, urging foreign bodies and influential networks to respond firmly to the constitutional amendments approved in parliament the day before.
RPA officials intend to do everything possible to deliver significant 'blows' to the authorities through the voices of international organizations.
«Jamanak» spoke with RPA Deputy Chairman Armen Ashotyan to understand whether they plan to appeal to international institutions on this matter. In response, Ashotyan stated, «The RPA is the most internationalized political party in Armenia, with extensive and significant connections to both European and worldwide political families. Regardless of our extra-parliamentary status, these connections continue. Naturally, we have expressed our views regarding this political agenda and the recent developments, as well as in connection with the latest phase of usurpation in the National Assembly. We have also officially informed our European partners and international political families about this.»
