‘Bright Armenia’ Proved to be an Extension of Those Who Overthrew the Constitutional Order: Vanetsyan

‘Bright Armenia’ party has proven with its recent actions that it is not an opposition faction, but rather an extension of those who have overthrown the constitutional order and want to preserve power, stated Arthur Vanetsyan, leader of the ‘Homeland’ party, in response to a question from ‘Pastifno’.

It is noted that the president of the Bright Armenia party announced today that they would not join the Prosperous Armenia party in collecting signatures to appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the constitutionality of the government-initiated constitutional amendments, although he acknowledged that making changes to the Constitution without a conclusion from the Constitutional Court is unconstitutional.

“After such developments, the ‘Bright Armenia’ faction ceases to exist for me as an opposition force. In my assessment, there is today one opposition force in the National Assembly, and that is the ‘Prosperous Armenia’ faction,” Arthur Vanetsyan stated.
