Armenian Contingent of 75 Soldiers Participates in Moscow Parade

This moment marks the start of the victory parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War in Moscow's Red Square. The event features 13,000 military personnel, 234 units of machinery, as well as aerial forces. An Armenian column consisting of 75 soldiers is participating in the parade. The Armenian soldiers will carry the flags of the Taman Division and the Republic of Armenia.
The Armenian delegation is led by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan. Health protocols are being observed for the 1,089 attendees, who are seated one to two meters apart to maintain social distancing.
