The Number of COVID-19 Deaths in Turkey Exceeds 5000
Turkey has reported 1,268 new cases of coronavirus in a single day, with the death toll increasing by 27, thus surpassing the 5,000 mark. This was announced by Turkey's Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, via a post on Twitter.
“Today, 1,268 new cases of coronavirus have been registered. The total number of infected individuals is 190,165. We have lost 27 infected individuals, bringing the total death toll to 5,001. Today, 1,315 people have recovered from the virus, with the total number of recoveries reaching 162,848,” Koca wrote.
Turkey ranks 12th in the world in terms of the number of infected individuals.
