Infrastructure Development Projects Launched in Kashatagh Region of Artsakh
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, met with the head of the Kashatagh regional administration, Artyom Saribekyan, on June 23. During the meeting, Saribekyan presented the progress of agricultural activities in the region, as well as social and economic issues, particularly concerning housing.
According to information from the Artsakh presidential press service, the country’s leader noted that large-scale projects are planned in the region. This year, construction work will begin on private houses for 43 large families, and an additional 150 million drams will be allocated to improve housing conditions in the area for the procurement of building materials. The asphalting process of the Khndzoresk-Qorotan road section will also commence, and renovation and construction projects for the irrigation network will receive significant attention.
Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that alongside infrastructure development, the government will take practical steps to revitalize the process of repatriation. The meeting also included the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Artsakh, Jirair Mirzoyan.
